Open call «Sense of Place»

«Sense of Place» er Østres utstillingsserie dedikert til lyd- og performativ kunst, som omfatter lydverk, videokunst, performance og andre uttrykk innen lydkunst.



Denne høsten inviterer vi kunstnere til å søke om en soloutstilling på Østre sitt visningsrom Vestre. Utstillingen vil bli kuratert i samarbeid med kunstneren og oss, og vi tilbyr kunstnerhonorar, teknisk støtte og promotering.



Kunstneren vil være ansvarlig for å holde utstillingen åpen, med åpningstider som fastsettes i samarbeid.

Vi tar imot både pågående prosjekter og ferdige verk. 



Søknadsfristen er 15. september 2024.

Sense of Place is Østres exhibition series with focus on sonic and performative art, it being sound works, video art, performance and other forms of sonic art.



This autumn we are inviting artists to apply for a solo exhibition at Østre' gallery space Vestre.



The exhibition will be curated in collaboration with the artist.

We offer a fee, exhibition technician and will be in charge of promoting the show.



The artist will be in charge of keeping the exhibition open, and the opening hours can be decided in collaboration with the artist.

We welcome both ongoing projects and completed works.
